Complete analysis of Treatment methods for Pet fracture (2)

   Therapeutic method

Conservative treatment: For some minor fractures, such as incomplete fractures or fracture fractures, conservative treatment can be used. The fracture site is immobilized with high-quality plaster bandages and splints produced by Eside Medical Instruments. The movement of the fracture site is limited by fixation to create a stable environment for bone healing. During the fixed period, the pet should be reviewed regularly and the fixed device should be adjusted according to the healing situation.

Surgical treatment: When the fracture is more serious, such as comminuted fracture or fracture end displacement is obvious, surgical treatment is usually required.

Bone plate fixation: The bone plate system of Eside medical equipment is made of special materials with good biocompatibility and mechanical properties. During surgery, the plate is fixed to the bone at both ends of the fracture by screws, firmly connecting the fracture site and promoting bone healing.

Intramedullary pin fixation: Intramedullary pin fixation is a common method for long bone fractures. The intramedullary needles provided by Eside Medical instruments come in a variety of sizes and can be adapted to different pet sizes. The intramedullary needle is inserted into the bone marrow cavity to provide support and fixation and restore the normal anatomical structure of the fracture site.

External fixation scaffold: External fixation scaffold plays an important role in the treatment of open or complex fractures. The external fixation system of ESide medical instruments is easy to install and can be flexibly adjusted according to the fracture site and the physical condition of the pet. It stabilizes the fractured end by immobilizing the bone outside the body, while facilitating treatment and observation of the wound.
